A Community Sanctuary

Welcome Home!

Home is a community space where people can connect, heal, rest, play, and grow in an actual home in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. There are different events, groups, lectures, and workshops throughout each month. There are also less structured events where community members can just hang out at Home and use the offerings of the house. I’ve been in the field of mental health for over 20 years and as a practicing psychotherapist for the past 16 years, and in that time, I have learned over 11 different therapeutic and healing modalities. So each room provides the community with different offerings based on my experiences. I created Drag Therapy, so one room offers the opportunity to “play dress-up” in a safe and supportive environment. I facilitate ceremonies so another room is a meditation, journey, and cuddle space. There is a quiet room for co-working. The living room is designed to hold workshops, yoga, dance, and other group offerings. In the backyard, there is a hot tub, fire pit, and space to practice yoga, ecstatic dance, or to just rest. There is a small, friendly, and loving hypoallergenic dog named Freud Beyonce who lives at Home. Events are limited in size in order to create more intimate and meaningful connections among members. Events include tea, coffee, and snacks. Our aim at home is to help us heal from this epidemic of loneliness by providing a space where we can build a community of like-minded, conscious people. So you always have a place where you are welcome, safe, and supported. A place to rest when you are tired; play when you need fun; connect when you feel lonely or isolated; a place where you can just be you. Welcome Home!
